Delpozo - Live Illustration Backstage @ LFW AW18

This fashion week I was over the moon to have been asked to collaborate with prêt-à-couture design house Delpozo. Usually a highlight of New York Fashion Week Delpozo showed for the first time in London and asked me to come along and live illustrate backstage. Producing quick sketches of models live at the LFW show I then developed a series of illustrations which will be used for marketing and social later in the year with the release of the AW18 collection.

The illustrations are under wraps until the collaboration is released but here are a few of my backstage studies!

Fox Brothers Collaboration + The Rake Magazine

Excited to share the first part of an ongoing collaboration I've been working on with British cloth makers Fox Brothers and Co - illustrating their Spring 19 cloth collection.

Fox Brother chose to use one of the 5 illustrations for their advertising campaign - shown below in international menswear magazine - The Rake.

London based illustrator Jessica Bird is one of Britain’s most visually exciting young artists.
Her work, whether it be her nude studies or her fashion portraits, are an exhilarating lesson in color and form. They are the sort of pieces that leave a lasting, joyous impression on the viewer. Inspiring others as she herself has been inspired!

E. Tautz Recommends...

This November, Scottish artist/illustrator Jessica Bird has collaborated with menswear label E. Tautz to create a series of 4 original illustrations depicting their latest Autumn/Winter Collection. For sale in E. Tautz’s Duke Street Flagship Store from 6th November, these framed works will sit occupying the space above their inspirations, along with a metre high hand-drawn window installation designed and produced by Bird herself. As with the majority of her illustrations, Bird looked to the atmosphere of backstage for reference and composition – with a variety of relaxed poses and angles giving more character to the work. And with a variety of media, including chalk pastel, acrylic and charcoal on various tonal sheets of drawing paper, Bird has aimed to give reverence to the collection in complimenting it’s earthy tones.

The four illustrations will be on display in the shop until mid December.
